Our Benzing pneumatic presses from mäder pressen

Included among the machines we use here are the small Benzing pneumatic presses. This German company has made good use of its wealth of experience, innovative ideas and cleverly designed presses.

The Benzing brand

This specialist metrology brand was created within the manufacturing company Horst Benzing Feinwerktechnik GmbH, which was founded at the start of the 1950s.

The company quickly began to specialise in hydraulic presses, comparator stands and concentricity testing devices.

In 2015, Horst Benzing Feinwerktechnik GmbH was in search of a company to continue its operations, which it found in mäder pressen GmbH. This ensured that the company and its employees were able to continue operations, and that production of BENZING presses, concentricity testing devices and comparator stands could continue.

The mäder pressen group

A German market leader in high quality manual and hydraulic presses.

Since 2015, the Benzing brand has thus belonged to Mäder pressen. Their German-manufactured products are produced in the company’s 4,800 m2 factory, using state-of-the-art CNC machining centres.

A significant proportion of its production is internal, with highly qualified employees: this is the method Mäder pressen has found to produce high-quality, long-lasting machines.

The presses and controls are manufactured in accordance with current EN standards and are compliant with the Machines 2006/42/EC European Directive. These machines undergo continuous improvement to ensure the company’s customers can access machines at the cutting edge of innovation and ergonomics.

DRP direct-acting pneumatic press

DRP direct-acting pneumatic presses generate a constant force over the entire stroke length. Standard 40 mm to 120 mm stroke lengths are available at intervals of 20 mm. Specific lengths can be made upon request.

The modular design of these pneumatic presses also make them highly cost-effective tools.

Very little maintenance

As the moving parts are assembled with bearings, DRP presses need very little maintenance. As their cylinders are pre-greased, the presses can be used without oil.

Increased force with tandem cylinders

For increased force, we use energy-efficient tandem cylinders. Pneumatic cylinders are connected in tandem, which increases the force of the cylinder. The return stroke is only performed in a single chamber of the cylinder, optimising air consumption. The air is channelled through the pneumatic cylinder, activating the press using only two air connections.

An innovative system

DRP presses are equipped with an innovative, precise and easy to use system as standard, which protects the cylinder against twisting and allows the stroke to be fine-tuned.

Use

Using an adjusting nut, you can adjust the press depth at an observational accuracy of 0.01 mm at a length of up to 80 mm. The stroke length may be read using a lateral and vernier scale on the adjusting nut.

Reed switches on the standard scale can be used to check the position of the cylinder.

The sensors do not need to be readjusted when the stroke length is changed, as the integrated magnets used to check the stroke length will also move to the same final positions.

Benzing type HP-40 manual press

This BENZING manual workshop press complies with strict quality requirements. All of its moving parts are made of tempered steel and have been modified if required. Its cast-iron parts are highly protected through a shock-resistant coating.

The Benzing type HP-40 manual press can be used for a wide variety of operations, including marking, folding, riveting, insertion, crimping and assembly, etc.

Benzing type DRP-150 T pneumatic press

This innovative pneumatic press is perfect for a wide range of industrial applications. This press is perfect for those looking for an effective, cost-efficient method of production.
