A Schneeberger CNC SIRIUS HPM grinding machine and a Schneeberger CNC Gemini DMR grinding machine, both used, are currently on sale in our facility. These machines are tested and partially overhauled by Scemama: the geometry of the machines have been redone and parts that have been worn down have been changed.

The Schneeberger brand
This family business, which was founded in 1923, specialises in the creation of precision grinding machines.
From the very beginning, Schneeberger has attached great importance to the idea of universality and has strived to achieve maximum precision in its grinding machines. The brand currently has a wide range of robot-assisted grinding centres.
Schneeberger, now an international company, still manufactures its machines in-house so they can quickly implement their new ideas. Their expertise has enabled them to develop Quinto, their own grinding software.

Schneeberger CNC SIRIUS HPM
This machine is particularly suited to the production of profiling tools to extremely tight tolerances. This precision is due to its linear motors and unique kinematics.
A typical use for the Sirius grinding machine is for the lean manufacturing of cutting inserts of all types. Its short cycle times and simple changeovers ensure cost-effective production.
Another selling point of this grinding machine is its loading system, a powerful and robust Fanuc robotic arm.
Schneeberger CNC Gemini DMR grinding machine
The CNC Gemini has power and autonomy, making it ideal for the mass production of cutting tools. It is therefore perfectly suited to the production of milling cutters, drills, and profiling tools. It is also useful for end profile grinding and gear cutting wheels, as well as for grinding tasks in manufacturing (profile grinding and surface grinding).
Its standard areas of application include chip removal tools such as radius cutters for mould making, high-performance drills, reamers and profile cutters.
Accessories for the Gemini drilling machine
While the used model does not come equipped with the accessories, a number of accessories can be added to this grinder to increase its range of applications and its productivity:
- A 6-axis robot for loading parts, with a capacity of 2, 4 or 10 pallets.
- Laser marking of parts
- Wheel loader with 8 or 14 packs of grinding wheels, including sprinkler nozzles
- Measuring systems on all axes
